2018 Information

NEW FOR 2018!

2018 will be a great year for Calvin’s Challenge and all the athletes!

After a 1 year hiatus, Calvin’s Challenge will now offer a 24 hour non-drafting RAAM qualifier option!

The new director of Calvin's. Maria will take her love of cycling and add to an already great race to make it better.

Maria, test riding the new course for 2018!

Keeping true to its history, Calvin’s will remain in Springfield, Ohio! Calvin’s Challenge will also still be offering the famous 12-Hour, and shorter 6-Hour, 100-Mile, and 50-Mile options. Whether you are chasing a UMCA record, or a personal goal to become healthier or keep training through the winter, Calvin’s offers the opportunity.

New swag, bike shop support, modified route, and lots of mileage options, will lead to one heck of a race. From the heart of a true cyclist, Maria, Calvin’s will grow to become Ohio’s premier cycling race.

Short Loop

Long Loop

The route will feature a 23.2 mile loop (641 feet elevation gain per loop), for the long loop, and a 4.9 mile loop (150 feet elevation gain per loop) for the short loop. Shorter loops help to eliminate some traffic issues and create a more friendly self supporting race.

The start line of Calvin's Challenge 2018 will be at the Knights of Columbus in Springfield Ohio.

The start: Knights of Columbus, Springfield, Ohio

Calvin’s will now be staged at Knights of Columbus, instead of the middle school, allowing quicker travel from local area hotels and restaurants, and access to an indoor facility that can accommodate over 250 guests.

Don’t forget to spread the word that Calvin’s Challenge is back in full force and ready to supply Ohio with one awesome race!
